Navigating through the intricate corn mazes is a fall family must-do activity.

We’ve found nine farms near Kalamazoo that offer corn mazes with a variety of sizes, designs and difficulties. And for those up for a challenge, some offer nighttime visits where finding your way out with only a flashlight.

Some things to consider before venturing out to your favorite corn maze:

1 – Confirm Payment Options. Many farms are cash only; call or check online to verify payment options before heading out.

2 – Corn Mazes are Weather Dependent. Call and/or check Facebook before visiting; they often close temporarily due to rain.

3 – Corn Mazes are Messy. Wear comfy clothes for walking (big mazes can take over an hour to navigate) and dress for the weather. Bug spray and rain boots are often helpful for walking though the (sometimes muddy) fields.

Night Maze Nights: In October, bring your flashlights and explore the maze at night for a different experience! This event is family-friendly (no spooky stuff). 2021 Dates: October 22, 23, 29, 30.
