Yee-haw! What kid doesn’t love animals? From cows to horses to goats, the Kalamazoo County Fair has it all.

Prepare to be blown away this year’s fair, featuring a medley of animal shows, kiddie rides, acrobats, live music, rodeo, inflatables, and delicious food.

Kalamazoo County Fair Highlights

The Kalamazoo County Fair is full of 4-H fun.

From horse showmanship to pig shows, your kids are going to love mooing and neighing along with their favorite animals on the first two days of the fair.

Be sure to visit Thursday through Saturday for kiddie rides, carnival fun, live entertainment and some of your favorite local food trucks.

August 4-5: 4-H Showcase

Cheer on your fellow Kalamazoo kids (we’re not talking about the goats!) by attending a 4-H show early in the week.

The Kalamazoo County Fair brings oodles of farm animals to the Expo Center, including cows, sheep, goats, pigs and horses.

Thursday, Friday and Saturday’s schedules are PACKED with family fun.

BONUS: On Thursday, seniors (ages 60+) are free!

Thursday – Saturday: The Stone Age Show & Foam Fun Zone

The Stone Age show brings prehistoric fun for all dinosaur fans
Foam Fun Zone combines high-energy game show with foamy fun

Saturday: Flying Star Rodeo

This is a full rodeo including bull riding, bronc riding, barrel racing, roping, and clown acts.

Rodeo tickets are $10 per person; kids 5 and under are free.

Tickets are available per person or vehicle.

Some fair activities will incur an additional charge.

Tuesday & Wednesday (Aug 4 – 5)
• $10/vehicle
• $3/person (vehicles with 8 or more persons)
• $3/person (walk-in)
Thursday – Saturday (Aug 6 – 8)
• $20/vehicle
• $5/person (vehicles with 8 or more persons)

Thurs: Senior Day – ages 60+ are free
Fri: Veterans and active military members – 1/2 price vehicle admission
Weekly Pass (Aug 4 – 8)
• $50/vehicle
Fair Activity Tickets
• $2/ticket
• $15 for 10 tickets
• $25 for 20 tickets

Ticketed activities: kiddie rides, bounce houses, inflatable games, rock wall, mechanical bull, pony rides, and mini-golf.

Each activity varies from 1-3 tickets.

• $10/person

Kids 5 and under are free
