As another school year nears completion, we are ready for summer activities in Southwest Michigan: summer camps, barbecues, beach days and holidays with family and friends, here we come!
If your celebrations include the Fourth of July, you’re in for a treat- many local favorites are back and ready to party for 2025.
However you choose to spend your holiday, we wish you safety and health over the long weekend.
Is Schoolcraft MI Hosting Fireworks this Year?
Yes! Fireworks are back in action in Schoolcraft for 2025 after being on hiatus last year due to road construction on 131.
The parade is scheduled for July 4, followed by fireworks on July 5.

Does Portage MI Host a Fireworks show?
Not currently. The last Fourth of July fireworks in Portage were in 2019.
The Portage Rotary Club hosted the fireworks for more than a decade.
