As another school year nears completion, we are ready for summer activities in Southwest Michigan: summer camps, barbecues, beach days and holidays with family and friends, here we come!
If your celebrations include the Fourth of July, you’re in for a treat- many local favorites are back and ready to party for 2024.
However you choose to spend your holiday, we wish you safety and health over the long weekend.
Is Schoolcraft MI Hosting Fireworks this Year?
No. Due to the construction project on 131, there will not be fireworks or 4th of July festivities in Schoolcraft this year.
Construction began April 15, 2024, and is scheduled to finish in late November. Find updates on The Village of Schoolcraft’s Facebook page.
Does Portage MI Host a Fireworks show?
Not currently. The last fourth of July fireworks in Portage were in 2019.
The Portage Rotary Club hosted the fireworks for more than a decade.
