The third annual Metro Toyota SkeleTour is an autumn spectacular throughout the entire month of October in downtown Kalamazoo featuring 60+ one-of-a-kind, life-size skeletons that reflect local businesses and organizations unique to Kalamazoo.
From creepy and scary to funny and silly, there’s a skeleton for every taste!
And along with the skeletons? A whole month of silly, spooky, and outright fun.

Skeletons are popping up all over downtown Kalamazoo!
With the beautiful October weather, what better reason than to take a walking tour to see them up close and personal.
A little spooky, and a whole lot of silly, these skeletons are posed in hilarious ways that beg for “skelfies.”
Even better? Each skeleton reflects a local business or organization unique to Kalamazoo.
So, where can you find the skeletons?
Stroll along Michigan Avenue, the Kalamazoo Mall, Rose Street, and Portage Street, and you’ll see skeletons on display.
Plus, there’s a special display on the N. Kalamazoo Mall near the Radisson Plaza Hotel.
Details like cornstalks on light poles truly transform downtown into a special fall destination.
Adding to the Skeletour experience: a series of events and activities geared toward a wide range of audiences.
Families, food-lovers, music fans, and more will find fun things happening in Downtown Kalamazoo in the month of October.

🎃 Have a gourd time watching a Pumpkin Carving demonstration by John Angevine on the Kalamazoo Mall on Saturday, October 9 from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Keep your eyes peeled for special costumed characters on the Kalamazoo Mall from 12-3 p.m. If your kiddo loves Paw Patrol, PJ Masks, Vampirina, and Spiderman – downtown is the place to be!
Shake your bones to a live performance by The Skeletones on Saturday, October 9 from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. on Bates Alley.
🍺 For the adults, the SkeleTour Bar Crawl Passport returns – and with it a chance to win Downtown Dollars.
With the Central Commons Refreshment Area in downtown, it’s the perfect opportunity to grab a spooky cocktail from a downtown restaurant and tour the 60+ skeletons.
