A traditional room equipped with comfy couches, pillows and plenty of seating might be the best environment for your family.
Families attending PCI therapy, or Parent-Child-Interaction therapy, will utilize a play-based therapy room. There is a two-way mirror and a comfortable room with toys as families learn new ways to play together.

How often should my child attend therapy?
As a child is developing a therapeutic relationship built on trust, you’ll find weekly or regular, routine appointments are best.
How long should I expect my child to go to therapy?
Treatment duration is individual for each child and family; it depends on the treatment plan and diagnosis.
Do I stay with my child for therapy?
Sometimes! Parents are the most influential people in their children’s lives and should be involved.
Which ages does your office treat?
We see all ages! Kalamazoo Child and Family Therapy sees pregnant families to teens going away to college. We help moms learn to balance all of the tasks and help dads who want tools to build relationships with their children.
We see kids across all families and life spans.
What are the most common behaviors that lead parents to request therapy?
