Experience A Summer of Adventure and Play at Kalamazoo Country Day School Summer Camp

Summer is my favorite season.

As a child, the anticipation of waiting for the faint tune of the ice cream truck to grow louder as it wound through the neighborhood is a long-treasured memory.

As a parent, I still enjoy the “lazy days of summer,” but I also want to incorporate learning for my children that continues after the school year ends.

Is there a camp that combines the fun of summer while still reinforcing learning and social-emotional connections?

Kalamazoo Country Day School is excited to offer themed summer camps to extend learning beyond the classroom year.

Through these camps, children will continue their academic and character development while participating in various fun activities, including soccer, coding, outer space and superheroes.

Kids will leave camp with a reawakened curiosity and desire to learn.

KCDS began in 1979 when local families saw a need for an independent, non-profit school in the Kalamazoo area.

This Pre-K through 8th grade school was built on collaboration with families, staff, alumni and friends to create lifelong learners.

Beginning in preschool, KCDS students are enriched with Spanish four times per week; additional subjects include music, visual art, technology and physical education.

Kalamazoo Country Day School seeks to admit talented and motivated students yearly and is committed to economic diversity. Tuition is tuition-based, and financial aid is available.
