Branch Gymnastics has locations in both Battle Creek and Kalamazoo (Kids Sports USA). Combined, there is a total of 77,000 square feet of state-of-the-art gymnastics space. Both locations offer a preschool program (starting at 18 months), school-age program and competitive teams for girls and boys.

In addition to gymnastics, they also offer cheering lessons (Branch Gymnastics location), Momentum Dance (Kids Sports USA location), camps, field trips, open gym times, drop-in Mom-N-Tot classes, homeschool program and birthday party packages.

Children as young as one can start learning the basics of gymnastics in their TumbleKids program. Children ages one to five will learn gymnastics basics while using the toddler-size equipment in the designated toddler gym. Kids Gym also has a “big gym” with the latest equipment in gymnastics. Programs in the main gym include five recreational class levels for boys and girls, competitive and non-competitive teams.

Other services include cheerleading lessons, clinics, private lessons, field trips and open gym times. Open Gym occurs fall through spring on Saturday’s from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. Waivers must be signed by a legal guardian for participation.

The Creative Gymnastics Center program runs September through May, but children can join any time if there is space available. Classes start at three years old. In addition to regular classes, Creative Gymnastics Center also has opportunities for field trips, birthday parties and open gym times for school-age kids and younger children.

 

 

All That Athletics | 87 10th Street, Plainwell | 269-685-5255

As soon as your child can walk, they can take classes at All That Athletics in Plainwell. Three preschool classes are offered for children under five. For older children, they offer a beginner, intermediate and advanced class levels with placement based on skill level. Tumbling classes are also offered in four-week sessions. Adults and children are welcome during their weekly open gym times for $10 a session.

Tumbling and Acro Classes

Excel Dance Centre in Texas Corners offers five levels of floor/mat gymnastics and acro. Placement is based on evaluated skills. In addition to the gymnastics classes, they also offer a Tumbling Tykes class for children age four to six and tumbling clinics.

Acrobatic Dance “Acro” begins at age five at Mosaic Dance Center. This popular class blends “acrobatic movements in a dance context.” Skills include balancing, tumbling, flexibility and contortion.
