With pumkin carving, halloween crafts, indoor trick or treating, trunk-or treat, not to mention opportunities for candy galore – it’s no wonder Halloween is a favorite season for many.

We have the complete roundup of all things Halloween leading up to the 31st. In addition to trick-or-treating around the neighborhood, there are countless events and celebrations for family fun that will guarantee a faBOOlous Halloween.

The calendar is FULL of frightfully festive events happening this October.

To help keep track of all of the Halloween extravaganzas, we’ve listed not-so-spooky fun that runs multiple dates, individual events and even some that are worth the drive. Grab your costumes and start planning.

October 26-28 | Halloween Spooktacular Magic Show | Paw Paw Playhouse, Paw Paw | Alan Kazam family-friendly magic show. Wear your costumes, enjoy a treat and prepare to be amazed.

October 13-28 | Halloween Train Rides | Eden Springs Park, Benton Harbor | Visit and enjoy a kid-friendly Halloween-themed train ride.

October 26-28 | Camp Kidwell Annual Halloween Festival | 4-H Camp Kidwell, Bloomingdale,  MI | A family friendly event full of trick or treating, hayrides, haunted cabins, crafts, haunted trail, Halloween games, food. Costumes are encouraged, but not required.

October 13 | Spooky Spider Plants | Wenke Greenhouses | 10:00 AM & 10:45 AM | Kids will get an opportunity to decorate a pot like a spooky spider and plant their own spider plant. Registration required.

October 20 | Magic, Monsters and Mirth – A Not So Scary Halloween Show | Kalamazoo Public Library – Central Branch, Kalamazoo | 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM | Magician Brad Lancaster returns to KPL with tons of fun and audience participation. Reserve your seat for an afternoon of storytelling, puppetry, and magic.

October 25 | Gilmore Car Museum Halloween Spooktacular | Gilmore Car Museum, Hickory Corners | 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM | The Spooktacular features cool car exhibits throughout the museum, trunk or treating, a feature film in the theater, and vintage car rides outside the historic campus.

October 27 | Kids and Pets Costume Contest and Parade | Wicks Park, Saugatuck | 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM | Activities begin at 3:30 PM, with the parade beginning at 4:00 PM.
